Most bikes only have a single brake light and many accidents are caused by cars running into the back of them. Motorcycles can also stop much quicker than a car, making it essential that vehicles notice immediately that you are braking.
When you apply the brakes, the modulator turns on your brake lights for half a second then flashes the brake light 10 times a second for 1.5 seconds, finally then lighting them constantly.

This unit has been specifically designed for modern bikes with OEM LED Rear Light Clusters and Aftermarket LED Units. The modulator has the option to hold your brake light LEDs at 33%, this can add significantly to the rear visibility of your motorcycle.

If you re-apply your brakes within 8 seconds your Brake Lights work as normal to avoid annoying other road users in traffic queues.
Though there are many of these units on the market, most are sold for use on both normal filament bulbs and LEDs, (Including our own FGBF-1), and because of this design they do not take advantage of the LEDs used on modern motorcycles (extremely fast switching rates possible).
