DOES IT ANNOY CAR DRIVERS?
We have had no reports as yet, in fact, a bike is usually past a moving car in a short time anyway, so if it does annoy drivers, it's not for long, it also means they have seen you! We would suggest however to turn modulation off if in queued traffic.
CAN IT BE FITTED TO EITHER HIGH OR LOW BEAM?
Yes, If fitted to high beam, the pass switch cannot be used to turn modulation on/off. A separate switch may be fitted if required or simply switch to low beam to turn modulation off. See the PDF installation instructions for full details.
WILL IT WORK ON MY BIKE/SCOOTER? The unit will work on all 12 volt NEGATIVE GROUND systems. The exceptions are low end scooters which power their headlight direct from the engine magneto. The easy way to check is as follows: If you can turn on your headlight with the engine NOT running, it's OK, otherwise, sorry, it won't work. Some very old/classic bikes have a POSITIVE GROUND and the unit cannot be used with these. If you have any doubt, please contact us and we'll do our best to help.
HOW MANY LIGHTS WILL IT POWER? Up to a maximum of 130 Watts. The standard low beam lamp is 55 Watts and standard high beam is 65 Watts, so driving twin standard high beam headlights is OK. If in doubt, please contact us.
CAN I USE IT ON A H.I.D. (High Intensity Discharge) SYSTEM? NO! These systems generate high voltage and will damage the modulator and possibly the HID system too.
IS THERE A WARRANTY? Yes, 12 months from the date of purchase. Repair or replacement if the unit fails in normal use. This does not cover damage arising from incorrect installation or exceeding the maximum design load of the unit. Your statutory rights are not affected.
WHERE DO YOU DELIVER TO AND HOW? Worldwide by 1st Class registered mail. Note, some countries outside the European Union may charge Import Duty or Sales Tax on delivery. This is beyond our control and is the responsibility of the purchaser.

IS IT LEGAL?
In the USA and Canada YES! The product has been designed to comply with the US DOT specifications for headlight modulators. Several years ago in the States, it was argued that bikes with modulators could be confused with emergency vehicles, which is one of the reasons the US DOT drafted rigid specifications for modulators. Link Here In the rest of the world this is a grey area. There have been no test cases that we are aware of and in all probability this may be because there is no legislation to charge a user with. If you know different, then PLEASE let us know. Our personal opinion is how can the authorities complain about something that may save lives? We must however refer you to our disclaimer below.
